Our Role in the Community
Since the establishment of our Trust and the employment of the Community Co-ordinator,
the number of projects, workshops, seminars, training days and fun days, that have been
delivered across the Northern Southland area (most of which have been identified as ‘Needs’
within our communities), has steadily grown.
The sheer volume of support and assistance the Trust and the Community Co-ordinator have received, along with the number of people utilising the services of the Resource Centre positively portrays just how valuable this role is to the rurally isolated communities of the Northern Southland area.
The projects and services offered through our Resource Centre cover all demographics of the community and are broken down into the following categories:
• Community and Family
• Youth
• Senior Citizens and
• Migrants
